DETAILS

We have changed our format somewhat–just further modifying the field game for indoor play:
-The goals will be standard 4′x4′ box lacrosse goals, instead of 6′x6′ outdoor goals.
-We will provide goalies for every team. They will wear full indoor goalie pads and equipment.
-No long poles will be allowed on the field (so, all you poles, just remember to bring a shorty).
This will provide a fast-paced, exciting game that will improve your stick skills dramatically. You will enhance your foot work, shot and passing in traffic. Because nets are smaller and goalies are bigger, you have to get creative to score. Without the benefit of a long pole, you must stay tight on your man.
We believe that this–and the fact that we have no boundary nets for the ball to get stuck in–will allow each player to get more time with the ball to improve their stick skills. Operating in tighter spaces with less reaction time will boost your field game. Your shooting skills will grow as you shoot on smaller nets against goalies wearing more equipment. This indoor version of the field game is simply quicker up and down the turf, which improves all-around athleticism and fitness.
  • Games will be played 6v6, 5 field players and 1 goalie (which we will provide)
  • Games consist of two 20-25 minute halves
  • All field equipment is required (and full indoor equipment for goalies)
  • Each player will receive a league reversible
  • Leagues include seven (7) weeks of games including a championship round
  • Game results and standings will be posted on the web site
  • Rosters will include a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 17 players per team
  • Certified EMLOA officials will referee every game
  • Baggataway, at its discretion, reserves the right to add “Free Agents” to any roster
  • PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CANTON SPORTSPLEX DOES NOT ALLOW CLEATS TO BE WORN ON THEIR FIELDS

COST

The fee per session, per player, is now only $160 until two weeks prior to the start of a session. After this, the cost is $180.

A team captain/coach must first register a team name and profile. Once this is done, each individual player can register directly to their team and pay the fee online while registering.

*** In case of bad weather we will not cancel any program unless the facility has closed. Please use your best judgment when deciding whether or not to travel. Any canceled games will not be rescheduled.
