1. Face off to start game, and second half

2. No release after face off until possession, or ball enters box

3. Checking into boards automatic 2 minutes (non-releasable)

4. 4 fouls in a game and you foul out

5. Fighting- suspension for remainder of game, and next game -2 fights in session—gone for session!

6. All penalties are at least 1 minute

7. No penalty flags used, arm signals with “flag down” call

8. 10 second count to get ball over midline (not JV and Youth)

9. Backcourt if ball is passed back, or if you are legally checked back, results in a loss of ball.(not JV and Youth)

10. Backcourt violations are delayed to allow defensive team a chance for a fast break.  If the defense does not come up with ball, sound whistle, and award ball at midfield. (Center “X”) (not JV and Youth)

11. Keep it in last 2 minutes if it is 2 goals or less (stop clock if 2 goals or less) (not JV and Youth)

12. Goalie starts with ball after goal is scored on him.

13. Man up situation starts outside box up top.

14. “Slaughter Rule”- For Youth and High School Only!  If a team is losing by 6 or more goals and they score, they will start with the ball at midfield.

15. Slow whistle and goal is scored.  If it was going to be a Technical foul,  it is wiped out.  If it was going to be a personal foul, the team fouled starts with the ball at midfield, man up. (Center “X”)

16. Overtime (Sudden Victory) starts with a face-off. 3 minute OT.  PLAYOFFS ONLY!

17. Complete equipment (mouthpieces, gloves, certified helmet, arm and shoulder pads) is required for all Youth and High School players. When 4′x4′ nets are used, ALL field players must use sticks 40″-42″ long.  2 long sticks (52”-72”) will be allowed for the High School league only when the 6′x6′ regulation size nets are used. Certified Lacrosse helmets must be worn!

18. All substitutions are on the fly.  One off, and one on.

19. Two 20-25 minute running halves.  (Pending start time) 3 minute halftime.

20. No timeouts.

21. Ball out of play—awarded to team that did not cause ball to go out.

22. 6 on 6 (including goalie).  Must keep 2 players back behind midline
